Quilt Gives Feeling of Comfort
East Pasco Quilters are not new to providing a feeling of comfort to those in need. They have been donating their handmade quilts to various local organizations but felt their talents and quilts could signify a new beginning and sense of belonging for families moving into their own East Pasco Habitat Home. The most recent quilt was presented in April to Habitat homeowner Jennifer Timms.
Jennifer and her two sons moved into their new home in March. Unfortunately George Timms, Jennifer's husband, passed away just three days after their approval was in place. The new home is a blessing but bittersweet for the Timms family.
Habitat would like to thank the East Pasco Quilters and Florida Medical Clinic- Foundation of Caring for helping give the Timm's family a "hands up"! We look forward to working with you in the future.
